Ted was a previous customer of P and J Speed Shop before he
rolled in with this 2004 Cobra. His taste for "Boost"
began with his V-6 Camaro when P and J Speed Shop installed a
centrifugal supercharger.
Many upgrades have been performed on the
Cobra. Ted really tested the durability of the Cobra's
independent rear suspension (IRS) and found out real quick what
the weak point of his car was. Ted was really looking for
a drag car and after breaking a couple half shafts it was time
for P and J Speed Shop to build this snake for the strip.
P and J Speed Shop built and installed an 8.8 solid rear end
using 31 spline axles, Ford Racing differential, UPR upper and
lower control arms and 3.73 ratio gears.
This car has also been tuned on the P and J dyno and a few more pounds of boost were added to get the Cobra
into the 450 - 500 RWHP range. Ted also recently added a
MAC ProChamber mid pipe and MAC ProDump mufflers. It also
has a Pro 5.0 shifter and a Centerforce clutch to harness the
power.
