February 17, 2006 - P and J Speed Shop finished the Kenne Bell supercharger and intercooler installation on the 2005 Mustang GT. The results were AWESOME...! It makes serious power. At only 8 psi it made 480 RWHP, and at a still mild 10 psi, it made 509 RWHP. As John McGowan would say, "This thing is KILLER...!"

September 7, 2005 - John McGowan won in the Nitto Tire 2005 Mustang Shootout presented by Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords magazine at the 27th Annual Quarter Master NMRA Ford Expo in Columbus, Ohio. The shootout category that John competed in was the "Quickest '05 Naturally Aspirated - Drag Radials". The event took place on September 4 - 7, 2005.
