February 13, 2007 - P and J Speed Shop now has a severe duty one-piece replacement driveshaft for the 2005 - 2007 Mustang GT. They are available for both the 5-speed and automatic transmission cars. Each driveshaft is precision balanced to 8,000 RPM and built exactly to our specifications by Denny's Driveshaft, Inc. Each shaft also comes with 1350 series maintenance free u-joints, and virtually unbreakable 3" tubing! If you can twist the tubing, or break the welds, the entire driveshaft is replaced for FREE! This is a direct "bolt in" replacement and also includes our CNC machined billet aluminum adapter plate and grade 8 mounting hardware. With a weight savings of nearly half the original shaft (23 lbs vs. 42 lbs ), you will accelerate quicker, and put more POWER to the ground! February 17, 2006 - P and J Speed Shop finished the Kenne Bell supercharger and intercooler installation on the 2005 Mustang GT. The results were AWESOME...! It makes serious power. At only 8 psi it made 480 RWHP, and at a still mild 10 psi, it made 509 RWHP. As John McGowan would say, "This thing is KILLER...!"

September 7, 2005 - John McGowan won in the Nitto Tire 2005 Mustang Shootout presented by Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords magazine at the 27th Annual Quarter Master NMRA Ford Expo in Columbus, Ohio. The shootout category that John competed in was the "Quickest '05 Naturally Aspirated - Drag Radials". The event took place on September 4 - 7, 2005.
